Tributes have poured in for tragic British rider Sarah Yorke who died at a horse trials event last Friday.

Ms Yorke, 37, died after falling while competing at Aston-le-Walls Horse Trials in the Northamptonshire village on Friday.

While the mother-of-one, who fell at the third fence during the contest could not be saved, her horse MGH HERA was able to walk back to the stable uninjured.

Video clips posted on Ms Yorke's social media show the accomplished horse equestrian rider competing at Eland Lodge, Derbyshire, in 2023.

The clip showed the talented rider jumping over fences and hedges as she navigated the technical course on a chestnut horse called Allegro.
