Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will lead a protest march of INDIA bloc MPs to the Election Commission of India (ECI) headquarters today (August 11, 2025) against the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar and alleged electoral malpractices.
Members of Parliament from Opposition parties in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will from Makar Dwar in Parliament to the ECI office at Nirvachan Sadan. The march will begin at 11:30 AM and proceed via Transport Bhawan. Meanwhile, the ECI has granted an appointment for an interaction at 12 noon today on the request of the Congress Party.
Later today, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will host the MPs for a dinner meeting to formulate a common strategy on the issue of the alleged poll fraud.
