The man described by police as 'among the most prolific' shoplifters has finally been jailed.
Justin Godefroy, 28, was sentenced last Monday at Plymouth Magistrate's Court after pleading guilty to a total of 18 shoplifting offences - all from Co-op stores around Plymouth.
The staggering list of items include meats, cheeses, beauty items and laundry detergent summed up to a total of over £1,000 and were taken from stores - including Devonport Road and Albert Road - across the summer.
