Raised in a 25-room Dorset stately home surrounded by 400 acres of parkland, Constance Marten’s childhood was luxurious beyond the wildest dreams of her fellow inmates at HMP Bronzefield.

And it seems Constance – or Prisoner A9624X as she’s now known within its stark walls – has lost nothing of her aristocratic sense of entitlement as she awaits sentence for the manslaughter of her newborn daughter.
