A 76-year-old woman and her 66-year-old sister were found dead in their rented house at Thadampattuthazham in Kozhikode on Saturday (August 9). The deceased were identified as Molakkandy Sreejaya and Pushpa.
Neighbours alerted the police after learning about the incident from the brother of the deceased in the morning. When the police arrived, the man was reportedly found missing. “We are in search of the man,” said a police officer.
Meanwhile, a police team visited the spot and recorded the statements of the neighbours.
