Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will be attending the International Tribal Day celebrations at Vanjangi village of Paderu mandal in Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) district on Saturday.
The Chief Minister will also visit the Modakondamma temple and participate in the traditional tribal cultural events. He will also visit tribal households to understand their living conditions.
Later, Mr. Naidu will interact with the coffee growers. It will be followed by a public meeting at Lagisapalle. From there, he will inaugurate various development projects in the tribal areas. Several MoUs will be signed in his presence. Mr. Naidu is also scheduled to interact with the party workers.
The United Nations has given this year’s theme as ‘Protecting the Rights of Indigenous Peoples: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Indigenous Peoples’.
The government accelerated road development projects to connect remote tribal habitations with the Agency headquarters and the plains.
