Shedeur Sanders is set to make his Cleveland Browns debut on Friday in what may be one of the most anticipated NFL preseason starts ever by a fourth-string quarterback.

Sanders is getting a chance to lead the Browns with Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel out of action due to hamstring injuries. Meanwhile, Kevin Stefanski is simply giving 40-year-old veteran Joe Flacco the game off, leaving Tyler Huntley as the only other healthy quarterback for the game.

The Browns only signed Huntley a few days before their clash with the Panthers, so Sanders may have a long leash as he looks to stake a claim to a spot on Cleveland's QB depth chart.

Here's what to know about Sanders' debut, including how to watch it and the highlights from it.

The bad news: Sanders was sacked for the first time of the game to end the Browns' fifth offensive drive of the game. The good news: it was just for a 1-yard loss, as he managed to scramble around the backfield for a long time before eventually running out of bounds after losing the angle to the sideline.
