Palestine’s representative to the Arab League has called on the 22-member bloc to hold an emergency meeting as Israel plans to occupy Gaza City and the entire besieged enclave and advances with its attacks in the occupied West Bank.

The goal is to discuss “mechanisms for action at the Arab and international levels to confront Israeli crimes, prevent their continuation, and prosecute their perpetrators before international justice mechanisms”, the representative said, according to the Wafa news agency.
