The Scots actor is set to star in new flick Ella McCay alongside an all-star cast including British/French actress Emma Mackey, and Hollywood stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Woody Harrelson.
In a trailer for the new film Lowden’s as-yet unnamed character can be seen marrying on-screen love interest McCay - played by Mackie.
The story centers around the eponymous, idealistic young McCay, who has to juggle her work and family as her estranged father, played by Harrelson, tries to seek her forgiveness.
