The first Channel migrants selected for removal to France have been pictured arriving at an immigration detention centre.
Video clips released by the Home Office showed men boarding an escort van at the department's processing centre in Manston, near Ramsgate, Kent.
Another sequence shows the van arriving at an unnamed immigration removal centre – thought to be Harmondsworth, near Heathrow airport - and the men disembarking.
They are all wearing grey sweatpants and sweatshirts, believed to have been given to them as a change of clothes after their Channel crossing.
Later, up to six men – whose faces are obscured – are seen sitting in a corridor of the removal centre.
