Kelly Clarkson is postponing her Las Vegas residency in order to be “fully present” for her two children.

“While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them,” she said in an Instagram post Wednesday, adding that she is “sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows.”

“I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding,” Clarkson said in her sign-off.

Clarkson and her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, share two children: River Rose, 10, and Remington Alexander, 8.

The two were married for nearly seven years before splitting in 2020.
