This is the sweet moment an ecstatic father told his son he had won £1million on the lottery after his two-year cancer battle - and his heartwarming plans for the cash.

Single dad Paul Harvey, 51, of the town of Attleborough, Norfolk, has had a difficult few years, undergoing gruelling treatment for bowel cancer.

But the full-time parent to two teenage children was overjoyed to discover last month he had won big on the National Lottery's EuroMillions Millionaire Maker draw.

Mr Harvey has big plans for the cash, not least taking the family away on their first ever foreign holiday together, to Greece.

He also plans to move house, as they currently live in a property without enough bedrooms for the three of them, with Mr Harvey sleeping in the living room.
