The cycle of historical irony is coming full circle. In Germany in 1933, books, including those of Freud, Einstein, Heine, Brecht and Remarque, were burned in the city squares. In Israel today, a petition signed by local artists who dared to be outraged by what is being done in our name on the other side of the border has been making headlines for a week.
