WNBA Player Admits Her Request To Stop Throwing Dildos On The Court 'Didn't Age Well'

A social media request posted by Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham has apparently aroused the wrong kind of attention for the WNBA star.

After someone threw a neon green dildo on the court during a July 29 game between the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries, it inspired another person to hurl a different green dildo under the hoop at the Aug. 1 game between the Golden State Valkyries and the Chicago Sky.

An official kicked the contraband aside before it was removed, according to Where Is The Buzz.

Cunningham took to X, formerly Twitter, to make a fairly reasonable ask to WNBA fans:

It was a legitimate request for sure, but somebody ignored it during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Sparks.
