London cocktail bar Simmons has gone into administration after recording a loss of almost £750,000 last year.

The popular chain, renowned for its pink fluorescent neon light and retro interiors, made the painful decision earlier this week after recording losses of £749,000 for the year to March 2024.

It has appointed London based advisory firm Kroll to oversee the administration, documents filed with companies house show.

The move comes less less than a week after Simmons announced it would be closing at least four of its 21 sites - all but one of which are based in London.

Founder Nick Campbell said the move aims to 'streamline' its portfolio as part of a 'strategic restructuring process'.
