This app has helped thousands of parents book child care—they just got $10M in seed funding
How an app is helping thousands of parents solve their child-care dilemmas
When Joan Nguyen learned she was pregnant with her daughter 8 years ago, she immediately got on the wait list for a child-care facility.
“I didn’t even know when she was due,” Nguyen tells CNBC Make It. “That was just the way child care was done. You either got a nanny, [where] you interview people and you have to go through agency, or you entered into child care and put your child down on a waitlist.”
It couldn’t be just any child-care provider, either: The facility had to be nearby, within budget and match the level of care they needed.
