Traffic movement will be restricted in certain areas of New Delhi from 5 pm to 9 pm on Wednesday (August 6, 2025), as stated by the Delhi Traffic Police in an advisory released before a special event at Kartavya Path.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the new Kartavya Bhavan, and heavy traffic is anticipated during the evening hours.
Traffic restrictions
1. Parking and stopping vehicles will not be allowed on Janpath, Mansingh Road, Maulana Azad Road, Rajendra Prasad Road and other roads around Kartavya Path and C-Hexagon.
2. Vehicles found parked in the above restricted stretches will be towed and prosecuted.
