Officers discover note after domestic helper identifies body as that of her employer
Hong Kong police have discovered a purported suicide note in a man’s home after his mangled body was found in the city’s upscale Mid-Levels neighbourhood during a severe rainstorm, the Post has learned.
A source said on Tuesday that a domestic helper working for the non-Chinese man living in Monticello, a luxury residential estate on Kennedy Road, had identified the body as that of her employer.
“The deceased’s domestic helper saw an open balcony door and many police officers gathered below the flat, and then ventured out to find out what happened,” the source said.
