A transgender paedophile, who used a female alias to access porn and to join dating sites, repeatedly breaching court orders, has been jailed.

Luke Hardy, 24, who identifies as Zoe and was referred to using female pronouns during the sentencing, breached Sexual Harm Prevention Orders (SHPO), Teesside Crown Court heard.

The first order was imposed on the sex offender in 2022 after Hardy was sentenced to a community order for three counts of making indecent images of children.

The indecent images, found on the paedophile's mobile phone, included eight of the most serious kind.

In 2023, the sex offender breached that order by deleting the internet history on the mobile phone, including erasing dating apps from the handset, which was against the provisions of the order.
