A man pulled out a gun in front of a group of teenagers in a McDonald's, before aiming it at a police officer.

Jacob Jenkins was jailed for four years for carrying the weapon in a public place.

Jenkins, 29, took his gun into the fast food restaurant in Tonypandy on May 2, and casually brandished it to a group of teenagers.

The group had noticed his stab proof vest and the fact he had been staring at them.

One of the group asked Jenkins if he was a police officer, he replied 'marines' before taking out the pistol he was carrying and showing it to them.
