The Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TNRERA) will make provisions on its website to provide project-specific information of every real estate promoter in its website for the benefit of customers, said TNRERA Chairman Shiv Das Meena.

Delivering the keynote address at The Hindu Tamil Nadu Real Estate Summit 2025 in Chennai on Tuesday (August 5, 2025), Mr. Meena said: “Under Section 11 of the Act, every promoter is supposed to create a page for every project on the RERA website and provide all the details, not only once, but also we are supposed to update the details on a regular basis.”

“Transparency must not be seen as a burden. It is an investment in your long term credibility and customer trust. I encourage you to ensure that all project related information including land title, approvals, construction timelines, and financials are disclosed honestly on the RERA platform. It is mandated under Section 4 of the Act to provide all these information while applying to RERA for registration,” he said.
