Tommy Robinson has tonight been arrested at Luton Airport on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
The 42-year-old was taken into custody by officers after a plane he boarded in Faro, Portugal, landed in Britain.
The arrest is connection with an incident at St Pancras station where a man was allegedly assaulted.
Robinson had gone to Tenerife a day later and was wanted for questioning after video emerged of him walking away from the scene.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: 'Officers from BTP have tonight (4 August) arrested a 42-year-old man from Bedfordshire in connection to an assault at St Pancras station on 28 July.
