Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who is also Leader of Opposition in Parliament, is to set off his Matdata Adhikar Yatra (Voter’s Right Journey) in three phases in Bihar covering as many as 30 districts from August 10.

Mr. Gandhi is likely to start his journey from Sasaram, district headquarter of Rohtas on August 10.

Senior Congress and mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) leaders too are likely to join Mr. Gandhi at various places during his journey in the poll-bound Bihar.

“Yes, our party leader is all set to set off his yatra (journey) from Sasaram on August 10... it is likely to culminate in three-phases covering 30 districts of Bihar”, party spokesperson Asit Nath Tiwari told The Hindu over phone hoping that the “the other details of the yatra would reach to them on August 4”.
