As one of the stars of beloved family favourite TV series The Yorkshire Vet, Matt Jackson- Smith is no stranger to farmyard emergencies, delivering calves at 2am and treating everything from cats to tortoises. But for Matt, it's his dream come true.
From working on his brother's dairy farm in Cumbria to treating pets and livestock across the Yorkshire, Matt's journey has been shaped by a lifelong love of animals great and small. 'I was obsessed with Steve Irwing along with shows like Pet Rescue and Animal Hospital,' he admits.
