Britain's most wanted fugitive is still at large exactly 20 years after a mother-of-three was shot dead in her own home.

Kevin Parle is the prime suspect in the murder of Lucy Hargreaves, 22, who was fatally wounded when three men burst into her house and opened fire while she was sleeping on the sofa on August 3 2005.

The killers then set fire to the home in Liverpool, where her partner and two-year-old daughter were upstairs, forcing them to escape through a window.

Her murder was described as 'one of the most brutal and callous acts' Merseyside Police had seen.

Two decades on, her family are still fighting for justice. There have been no confirmed sightings or trace of Parle - who is also the prime suspect in the murder of 16-year-old Liam Kelly in the city in 2004.
