A 22-year-old student at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay died at the hostel in Powai in Mumabi in the wee hours of Saturday (August 2, 2025), police said.
The student, Rohit Sinha, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead, he said.
