Prajwal Revanna, former JD(S) MP, convicted in rape case
Prajwal Revanna, former Janata Dal (Secular) MP from Hassan and former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda’s grandson, has been convicted in a rape case by the Special Court of Sessions for criminal cases against former and present MPs and MLAs. Prajwal has three rape cases and one sexual harassment case against him, and this is the first case in which the trial has been completed. The victim in the case is a 48-year-old former help at the Revanna family’s farmhouse in Gannikada, Hassan.
