President Trump described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “a competent person”, as he said he hoped Israel would manage to both feed starving Palestinians and prevent Hamas from stealing aid.
“We want to make sure people get fed,” Trump told US news outlet NBC, adding that “good management” will prevent the theft of aid.
