Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) leaders on Thursday staged a protest at Dharna Chowk demanding an immediate release of notification to fill 2,260 Special Education Teacher posts in the State.
Speaking at the protest, the federation’s State secretary G. Ramanna said that a GO (No. 13) was issued on April 15, 2025 on recruitment of special teachers to fill 2,260 vacant posts in the State. There are around 86,000 children with special needs who are in need of the services of these teachers, he said.
