KUALA LUMPUR -- Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim unveiled the 13th Malaysia Plan on Thursday, a five-year economic roadmap worth 611 billion ringgit ($144 billion) aimed at steering the country toward high-income status through digital innovation, renewable energy and more inclusive development.
"The next five years will be a critical period for Malaysia to not only achieve high-income status but also to nurture a compassionate society and deliver a high quality of life," Anwar said in parliament.
