Fans flock to stadium for second game of inaugural Hong Kong Football Festival, which is the first North London derby outside the UK
By any metric, Hong Kong’s first football festival has been a roaring success, and we’re not done yet.
Thursday’s game is something of a historic occasion, marking the first time Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have played each other outside the UK.
And three weeks before the Premier League gets under way, a North London derby seems like the ideal way to kick pre-season into high gear. Kick being the operative word when these two sides meet.
If that wasn’t enough, Arsenal fans could get their first glimpse of Viktor Gyokeres wearing the number made famous by Thierry Henry, and if he’s half as good as the French flyer, we’re all in for a treat.
