Russian missile and drone strikes hit Kyiv overnight, killing at least two people and wounding dozens, according to Ukrainian officials.
The attack targeted at least 10 locations across the capital, including the ward of a children’s hospital in Shevchenkivsky district.
City military administrator Tymur Tkachenko said 52 people have been wounded and the death toll is likely to rise.
The strikes come as Russia faces mounting pressure to end its war in Ukraine, now in its fourth year, after Donald Trump issued an ultimatum to take action or face new sanctions.
The death toll from Russian missile and drone strikes on Ukraine’s capital has risen to six, including a six-year-old boy according to the city’s military administration.
