When will Israel learn that military might won't bring it security?

Hamas' October 7 attack handed Israel a perennial justification for war. Headlines have blared that Hezbollah was preparing an October 7 attack – possibly immediately following Hamas' invasion – and "military sources" warn repeatedly of an October 7 style attack from the West Bank. Communities inside Israel close to the Green Line are also fearful of an attack emanating from there.
