A daring thief was dealt some instant karma after snatching a woman's iPhone only to be tackled to the ground by her moments later.
The unnamed Russian woman, 25, was caught off guard when a 38-year-old assailant tried to snatch her 'expensive' phone from her hand while she was waiting for the bus.
The thief then desperately tried to escape, but was unwittingly pursued by his victim as she refused to give up without a fight.
Seconds later the woman floors the man to the ground before wrestling with him to eventually retrieve her iPhone.
A man who witnessed the attempted theft was also seen emerging from a nearby shop to help the female victim.
