In the past month, a wall of secrecy has cracked. The public has begun to learn of the severe psychological effects of the war in Gaza. Another account from a soldier who was psychologically scarred, another suicide of someone who fought in the Strip. Since the start of the month, six soldiers have committed suicide – three of them were in the regular army, one was an active reservist and two had done extended reserve duty and killed themselves after being released. Not all of them had been involved in the fighting – two were young soldiers in training.
