Police are investigating a suspected murder suicide after a woman was stabbed to death in a quiet street and a man in his 20s was found dead on train tracks.
The woman in her 60s was found with multiple stab wounds at a house in Romford, east London, at around 9pm on Sunday.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and police have launched a murder probe.
Meanwhile, the body of a 20-year-old-man was found on the train tracks at Romford railway station earlier on Sunday.
His death is being treated as non-suspicious, the British Transport Police have said.
