Guests were stranded in mid-air over the weekend after a thrill ride with rotating arms malfunctioned at Knott’s Berry Farm.
The incident happened July 26 on Sol Spin. That same ride got stuck for more than 2 hours in November.
Knott’s Berry Farm describes Sol Spin as a high-speed spinning ride that sends passengers spinning in every direction, more than six stories high.
Video shared on the community safety site Citizen shows some passengers stuck sideways during the latest malfunction.
In a statement, Knott’s Berry Farm said: "The safety of our guests is a top priority. On Saturday, the ride did not complete a full cycle as a safety precaution. The ride was stopped for approximately five minutes. The ride received a full safety inspection and reopened shortly after."
