Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan says the US is an “essential actor” in the region and for peace with President Trump securing the first and only ceasefire in Gaza.
“I’m firmly in the belief that US engagement and the engagement of President Trump can be a catalyst for an end to the immediate crisis in Gaza and and the potential the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the longer term,” Farhan said.
