Remona Evette Pereira, the BA student from St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, entered the Golden Book of World Records with her 170-hour-long Bharatanatyam performance.

Her dance performance began by offering prayers to Lord Ganesha on the morning of July 21, in an auditorium of the institute. The marathon dance performance concluded with a ballet, followed by a prayer to Goddess Durga, around noon on Monday.
