The “Last Week Tonight” host returned from break to aid President Donald Trump’s attempt to deflect attention away from the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Oliver showed a clip of Trump blatantly telling Republicans to answer questions about the files by bringing up unfounded accusations about former President Barack Obama and the 2016 election.
“Every time they give you a question that’s uh not appropriate, just say,
‘Oh, by the way, Obama cheated on the election,’” Trump is heard saying.
