Nigel Farage is giving a major speech with a “special guest” this morning as Reform UK continues its campaign on crime.

Mr Farage last week launched a six-week summer offensive focused on law and order in an attempt to broaden the appeal of his party.

The guest is widely expected to be Colin Sutton, a detective who led the hunt for serial killer Levi Bellfield.

In an interview with the Daily Mail overnight, Mr Sutton said he would consider scrapping some online safety laws and believes police should prioritise catching the worst offenders instead of “policing Twitter” and other social media sites.

It comes as polling for Ipsos showed voters trust Reform more than Labour to deliver on the Government’s mission of “taking back our streets”.
