Heartbreaking scenes purport to show hundreds of Palestinians scrambling for food as trucks carrying aid entered Gaza from Rafah.

Footage shared by Turkish outlet TRT showed people climbing onto vehicles, reportedly after the Israeli military began paused hostilities to allow aid deliveries.

The videos emerged as international aid organisations continued to clash with Israel over who was responsible for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted on Sunday that Israel is not conducting a deliberate campaign of starvation.

'There is no policy of starvation in Gaza and there is no starvation in Gaza,' he told a conference in Jerusalem as aid began to trickle into the beleaguered enclave.
