The ultra-Orthodox and secular Jews currently agree on one thing: All the current initiatives will not result in the conscription of large numbers of Haredi men. The ranks are closed, incitement against the Israel Defense Forces is at its peak, and the struggle is now focused on closing the budget faucets to draft evaders, not on conscripting them.
