CAPF personnel injured during operations will get full benefits till retirement: Union Home Secretary

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel who get severely injured during operations and have to undergo amputation will be allowed to continue in service till their retirement with all benefits, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan said on Sunday (July 27, 2025).

Mr. Mohan said the government will ensure the best medical facilities and technology available in the world for “limb replacement surgery” for CAPF officials and jawans and it will be ensured that loss of limbs is corrected as far as possible.
