Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad announced that investments worth ₹10 lakh crore are now flowing into Andhra Pradesh. He further added that the State government is committed to transforming Vizag into a hub for IT companies on the lines of Hyderabad.

Speaking to the press on Sunday at the district TDP office, the Minister alleged that the YSRCP leaders who sold cheap liquor during their tenure in power have no right to comment about the development in the State.

Mr Satyaprasad said: “The previous YSRCP government drove away investments from Visakhapatnam, the present government is putting every effort to bring in as much investment as they can..”

He added, “During the YSRCP tenure, the State incurred debts of ₹10 lakh crore, leaving behind nothing but mountains of garbage and mismanagement.”

He asserted that the NDA government is focused on ‘development and welfare, and a ministerial sub-committee is actively working to resolve revenue-related issues.
