The Israeli military says fighting will pause in Muwasi, Deir al-Balah and Gaza City from 10am to 8pm daily to allow for humanitarian aid
The military said it would halt activity in Muwasi, Deir al-Balah and Gaza City from 10am to 8pm local time every day until further notice, beginning on Sunday.
In a statement, the military said it would also designate secure routes to help aid agencies deliver food and other supplies to people across Gaza.
The announcement came after indirect ceasefire talks in Doha between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas were broken off with no deal in sight.
The Israeli military said in a statement that the airdrops would be conducted in coordination with international aid organisations and would include seven pallets of aid containing flour, sugar and canned food.
