Almost 66 lakh voters are unlikely to make it to the draft electoral roll to be published on August 1, according to Election Commission of India data released on Friday (July 25, 2025), the last day for submission of enumeration forms in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.
Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan on Friday (July 25, 2025) said that Operation Sindoor remains in progress and highlighted the vital need for uninterrupted military readiness, stating, “There are no runners-up in war.”
