Politicians from all sides of the aisle rarely represent the moral conscience of human society. Some enter the political arena with good intentions, only to reveal themselves as power addicts and petty slaves to intrigue. Others are hollow shells who never had anything worth corrupting; lacking creative talents, they become career bureaucrats (yes, Likud MK Gila Gamliel, we're looking at you).
