A historic event took place on Wednesday in the Knesset: For the first time in eight months, the Likud faction convened. No, not to discuss the hostages, the bloody and pointless fighting in Gaza or Israel's shocking international standing. The faction (or more precisely, the cult) convened, at Benjamin Netanyahu's orders, to oust Yuli Edelstein as chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and "recommend" he be replaced by Boaz Bismuth.
