MOSCOW, July 24. /TASS/. The exposure of fabricated claims about Russia's interference in the US presidential election has backfired for America and its intelligence services, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko said at a press conference after a spring parliamentary session.
She noted that the sanctions imposed by the West against Russia have not achieved their goals, and threatening the country with new restrictive measures is futile.
